Living

Cazenovia is a town that cherishes its past, so it’s no surprise that a number of Cazenovia homes for sale were built during the 1820’s and 1830’s. Lower Lincklaen Street is particularly abundant with homes featuring Greek Revival architecture. Other older architecture found throughout Cazenovia includes Gothic and Lakeland style architecture. Cazenovia real estate includes a few newer developments, but older, more established homes are the town’s hallmarks. The median age of homes is about 60 years old. While the property tax rate in Cazenovia is higher than the national average, houses are relatively affordable, with the median home price hovering around $171,400. There are many homes located right on Cazenovia Lake, offering stunning views and easy access to lakeside recreation. The Cazenovia Lake Association is a terrific resource for lakefront homeowners who have a vested interest in the health of the lake.
